日本のラグビー界にとって、今後5年間はわくわくするとともに、手ごわい道のりとなるでしょう。2015年はイングランドでラグビーワールドカップがあり、日本代表は過去2大会において優勝している南アフリカ代表との初戦を、9月19日にイングランド・ブライトンで迎えます。2016年は世界最高峰リーグであるスーパーラグビーへの参入。2019年には日本でラグビーワールドカップが開催されます。 この3年間、確かに日本代表は進歩し続けていますが、来年のラグビーワールドカップが本当の意味で試される舞台になるでしょう。日本がラグビーワールドカップで最後に勝利を収めてから、24年が経過しようとしています。新しい歴史を作るために今後9カ月はさらに専念しないといけません。 現在、選手達はトップリーグで戦っていますが、過去5年間でトップリーグも非常に進歩してきました。しかし、トップリーグと世界の差はまだまだ大きいのです。 ■神戸製鋼コベルコスティーラーズ vs サントリーサンゴリアス ボールイン・プレー（プレーが進行中の時間）：24分 VS ■スーパーラグビー この世界との差を埋めるには、Japan Wayのプレースタイル、トレーニング方針を信じ、そして2015年以降のスーパーラグビーやテストマッチを通して高いレベルのラグビーに触れることが必要です。2015年はワールドカップに備えるにあたり、最もハードな準備をしていかなければなりません。 2014年、応援ありがとうございました。2015年も皆さんの応援が必要です！ 良いお年を！ Eddie Jones - Eddie's "JAPAN WAY"- 2014 DecemberThe next 5 years is exciting and daunting for Japanese Rugby. Rugby World Cup 2015 – our first game vs Double Champions, South Africa in Brighton on 19th September. 2016 - entry into the Super Rugby – the premier provincial competition in the world and 2019 hosting the Rugby World Cup. Over the last 3 years, the national team has progressed soundly but the Rugby World Cup is a litmus test, 24 years have now passed since the last victory and the next 9 months will be devoted to creating new history. Presently the players are battling away in Top League, which has improved immeasurably in the last 5 years.
