BIOGRAPHY

As a Fijian, he demonstrates a super speedy style of play, allowing the team to push forward. He scored 13 tries in 24 matches playing for Sunwolves and earned his claim to fame with his “Ega-chan Pose” performances. He has played for Kintetsu Liners since 2017 and was offered a position in the Fiji national squad, but decided to take the offer to play for the Japan national squad. With skillful footwork and a cheerful character being his strong points, he is a deceptive runner that does not speed down, making use of stepping techniques. As a member of the Japan Sevens’ national team, he led the team to the semi-finals at the Rio Olympic Games 2016. He’s impressive in one-on-one situations and has high offloading skills.
