ラグビーワールドカップ初戦まであと７日。
9月19日にピークを迎える準備を行ってきましたが、現在順調に進んでいます。最近のウルグアイとの２戦、ジョージア代表戦の3試合は確固たるプレーでチームが確実に成長しました。スクラムやモールでの戦いにおいて勝利を収めることができました。
南アフリカ代表はジョージア代表よりも運動能力に優れたチームなので、様々なチャレンジが日本代表の前に立ちはだかるでしょう。
ただ我々は良い準備をしてきており、南アフリカ代表戦で日本のラグビー史に新たな歴史を刻むのです。
お遊びでラグビーをやっている国、として世界で捉えられているように思えますが、日本も真剣なラグビー国であると証明して印象を一新させます。

7 days to go to our first RWC game.
We have planned to peak on 19 September and at the moment things are moving along satisfactory. Over the last 3 games, 2 games against Uruguay and 1 against Georgia, our performance has improved consistently, with a strong determined performance - winning the scrum and maul battles against Georgia.
South Africa are more athletic than Georgia and present an array of challenges. We are preparing well and will create a new history for Japanese Rugby. We are sick of Japan being considered a “Joke” country in world rugby and aim to prove Japan is a serious rugby nation.
